![]() Yeah, you'll often just see pros block a jump in because AAing can be a liitle. I enjoy the game but yeah when you lose it can feel like something less than strategy really got you. Then mix that in with any online problems too. Even sometimes it can be hard to react to air attacks or how the game accepts your anti-air is wonky.and since SFV is kinda a Jump In Fighter 5, you lose all kinds of life from that one thing.Īnd in terms of guessing or predicting if you do feel you did that right, the game might not accept what you did and so bam. You see somebody doing something, or dashing in.and you hit block or try to hit them and instead you get hit and comboed. Well it can be hard to react to stuff.and sometimes harder than other times too. How many fighting games can claim to be perfect in vanilla, if ever? This game just needs time. But I miss footsies and more defensive play. I love the ease of execution, because I'm very bad at that. And he's certainly right about this game not being fun to lose in lol. Ever since getting to mid gold playing Fang, I have sometimes felt I lost not because I was outplayed, but because I was 'out guessed', so to speak. Messaggio originale di Genji Fangirl:OK, I always wondered if why I felt the way I did about this game was because I was a scrub, but everything Xian says here I agree with 100%. Way too much to say, hopefully there will be a day we can sit down for a coffee to talk instead :)" Those that can have creative setups idea and restricted to have a weak neutral game or weakness in general People enjoy finding new stuff and sfv have less rooms for these creativity. But I think online is much better to practice because of simplicity in the game too. You cannot react to certain things (try to punish Nash dash on reaction for example, it's impossible). In short, you're NOT in control of your game at 100 %. It make you wonder if you lost because you guessed wrong or simply pushed your buttons too late. The game feels really dull and not precise. ![]() A mix between dash and jump is really hard to react so people dont enjoy the way they lose now. SFV is more preemptive footsies and where you press things earlier and predict and buffering more. SFV is simple but doesn't have any satisfying feeling like in another game or in sf4, in other games like kof you do alot of combos and you have a good sense of satisfaction, in sf4 you play footsies you whiff punish and you feel really good. Characters are not all equal for defensive mechanics. I dont think sf4 is a great fighting game either as it allows too much abusive mechanics such as backdashing (Chun-Li for example). Lack of footsies, there is but not as much intended it to be.
